Do you want to Collaborate with your business partners? If so, please come to session UPE219 “Use Virtual Rooms to Collaborate with Business Partners” and learn how to restrict what type of user data is displayed for external users. This session is part of the User Productivity Enablement track in Las Vegas and Amsterdam.

Additionally, SAP TechEd ’06 will also take place in Bangalore and Tokyo. Please see the TechEd site for more details on the User Productivity Enablement sessions for these two locations.

UPE219 is a one hour lecture that will cover how not to give a business partner, that has been invited in a virtual room, uncontrolled access to your user management data and collaboration services. This session will show you how to protect confidential information about your portal users as well as how to restrict the collaboration services used by external users.

Some of the topics we’ll be covering:

  • Differentiating User Visibility
  • Restricting Mail Permissions
  • Making Collaboration Services Available
  • You’ll have a chance to meet Christian Stadler in Amsterdam and myself in Las Vegas. We are the Product Managers for Collaboration and we would love to meet you and learn what you are doing with Collaboration.

For more information on other educational sessions within the User Productivity track, please see Las Vegas or Amsterdam.
