Hello everyone the countdown is on as we near the date for SAP TechEd 2006. We have got some great locations this year, Las Vegas, Amsterdam and Bangalore. Oh yeah did I say it Vegas baby! Like many of the other fantastic tracks and topics that are going to be covered at TechEd, the Business Planning and Analytical Services track has a lot to offer! Among the different topics discussed within the track including Business Planning and Simulation topics we are offering some great stuff covering the new functionality offered with SAP BI’s Integrated Planning solution as well!! Introduction The BIM101 lecture is going to walk the audience through the business planning world in SAP and provide a good background on how the Business Planning nd Analytical Services scenario is changing. The evolution of business planning into an even more flexible tool will be discussed as well as how this evolution is helping to meet the varying demands of different organizations within a company. Most importantly we are going to discuss how these changes are adding a great deal of additional flexibility to what the business planner is able to do!  Lecture Detail Some of the topics that we will discuss in this lecture are how the planning tool has become more flexible via a: 1/ Evolution of the Planning Architecture within SAP NetWeaver BI 2/ New Web based modeling environment3/ More flexible and friendly user interface4/ Consolidation of Planning Functionality into Reporting Tools  Along with covering the above topics we will be going through a demo to demonstrate some of this new and exciting new functionality available within SAP NetWeaver BI Planning. Inga Wiele from Product Management will be giving this lecture in Amsterdam and I will be giving it in Las Vegas. I hope to see you all there!
