I was asked a few weeks ago if I was willing to meet with a blogger and answer a few questions, I of course said which SDN member is it.   It turns out it wasn’t an SDN member at all, it was an external blogger, part of SAP’s new “Blogger’s Corner”, these are the folks who were at SAP Sapphire Orlando blogging the event and something SAP really went out into left field to start.

we [SAP] invited a group of bloggers to attend and liveblog the event. We are paying their way, giving them a place to work, full access to the conference, and a centralized scheduling service for executive one-on-ones

I ended up on the list of people to speak to and the topic is SAP Developer Network Blogging and Scripting Languages. The blogger, James Governor, is in Walldorf right now. In fact he just posted his first blog about what he learned and talked about today. He also posted a blog about you, all of you here on SDN, so it seems we are starting to get noticed. I’m getting on a train down to Walldorf tomorrow morning, for a very busy day including this discussion so wish me luck!

    Hi Craig,

Its great to hear that you are going to Walldorf.

can you take a photograph of SAP building while you are there?

I would like to know how does the founder’s of SAP building look like. I have always wanted to visit SAP AG. Even if i can’t visit it maybe a photo of it will satisfied my curiosity.

    Hehehehehehe….

    Thanks,

    William Wilstroth

Now that is not something I’ve thought of doing, I’m sure though one of these times down here I can manage to take a few photos – it’s a lot of area to cover though.

It seems you haven’t install SAP R/3 46C on Windows. The installer always showed the main SAP AG building:-)
I think it’s not the case anymore with the Netweaver Rapid Installer.
