SDN Upcoming Events!

Originally uploaded by Craig & Nicole Cmehil.

SDN is quite honestly one of the best communities I’ve ever had the pleasure of being part of, so whenever I can I like to try an arrange a chance to see the faces behind the posting. So without further ado, next week, July 25, 2006 at 19:30 CET in Walldorf we are having an unofficial SDN get together!  I’ll do my best to keep the list updated and to be sure other such events get added so feel free to subscribe to it, join it, submit events to it. image So what can you expect at such an event? Well SDN Meetup in Walldorf Thomas Jung was here in Germany and was able to fill us in on some cool stuff (namely the New ABAP Editor Backport!) he was working on. I also gave everyone a “sneak peek” at a new card game I’m working on for SDN! So what can you expect this time? To be honest you never know, perhaps new inside info on new features coming to SDN? Maybe even something about this “Insider tips on the Demo Jam” that Marilyn and I let into SDN while Mark was on vacation 😉 You might even get a peek at the current list of submit sessions to SDN Day?  The only way to find out though is to show up, July 25, 2006, 19:30 CET, at the Marktstube. The place has everything including lots of people right now with the great (but rather hot) weather – so you need to RSVP so I know how many people are coming to make a reservation!  Bring a friend, coworker, it doesn’t matter as long as they don’t mind talking tech they are welcome!

Craig is always thinking of innovative ways to communicate.
I like your use of the Eventful Calendar.  Nice way to have a sign-up.
Clicked "whose going" and it looks like I am ....wish I were in Walldorf to do that.  Have fun all!

Thanks Marilyn, wish you were as well! Remember you have a "neck of the woods" as well and these impromptu get togethers to have a drink or chat are just a few clicks away - you to (or anyone) and schedule an event there and let the whole community know about it!
