Mystery Blogger here. In my first undercover posting, I thought I'd share some tips that one of the Demo Jam Selection Committee members just shared with me. First: Customers have the best chances of getting into the Demo Jam this year. The Committee is looking for cool composites and mashups that have been built on Netweaver. Partners can bring a customer to show their solution too. PS. Bribery won't work this year. Too many international tax authorities to avoid. Second: Follow the rules. With hundreds of submissions coming in, the committee doesn't have much time to spend reviewing each demo. So-- watch last year's demo jam and read the instructions carefully. http://www.sapteched.com/demojam/contest/home.htm Third: Presentation skills count. The coolest demo in the world won't make it in if the presenter is boring. If you don't think you've got the skills to stand up in front of a few thousand screaming people and do your demo, find a colleague who can and teach them the demo. There is also going to be a Demo Jam Cup that the winning team gets to hoist (a la World Cup). Think of the fame and glory 🙂 MB
