Fifth ABAP Online Meet-up: Simple Transformations

Simple Transformations

After a general discussion of XML as a data model and XSLT as a transformation language, Peter McNulty, of the SAP NetWeaver product Management covered the basics of the Simple Transformations tool introduced in the SAP NetWeaver ’04 release. Simple Transformations allow you to produce XML documents from ABAP data, as well as extract values from XML documents into ABAP data. The presentation did not discuss the details of the communication mechanism but rather focused on XML as the format of the data content.

The audio is OK if its a lecture; but when you are referencing a slide you can't see and you're discussing colors --- it's worthless. Can these show up with both audio and video?
I try to make these meet-ups but work keeps getting in the way. Keep up the meet-ups, maybe you can have them repeated.

      You are right Rick.
I met with Peter, the speaker, at Sapphire and he promised to deliver the powerpoints.
When he does, I'll attach them here.
      cheers,
      Marilyn

      Hello Mrs Marilyn Pratt,
Are seriously interested in the subject, but the preso seems to be "damaged and unable to be repaired" when downloading...
Can you please have a look?
      Kind Regards,
      Robert Ten Bosch

      Hi Robert,
I did look and found I was able to download...although it is rather large.
I could try sending it to you directly if you fail.
