Frankfurt here we come …
Quick, what is even better than the SDN Online Meetup? (Which we have a really interesting one about the RFID roadmap coming up soon.) —
Even better is a face to face meeting of SDNers of course. If you live in or close to Frankfurt, come and join us for an unofficial SDN meet on the 6th of February at the Lorsbacher Tal Appelwoiwirtschaft 7pm. The address is: Grosse Rittergasse 49-51 D-69504 Frankfurt (Alt Sachsenhausen). (Unofficial means everyone pays for his one food and drink. Unfortunately no big budget available.)
1000 SAP developers/employees will come to Frankfurt Tuesday and Wednesday for the SAP Developer Kick-Off Meeting (DKOM), where the top secret SAP development strategy for 2006 and beyond will be laid out. (I hear it has to do with ESA, but I may be totally wrong.)
So lot’s of developers will fly/drive into Frankfurt on Monday already like me. What better thing to do than to meet lots of fellow SDNers that evening. Benny helped me select the very typical Frankfurt pub with simple German food. Ideal place to tackle him about AJAX @ SAP – an Old Hat!. We did that last time too when we had our SDN Meets Labs and it was a really nice evening in Palo Alto as well as Walldorf.
So please swing by, can’t wait to hear stories about code wrestling, sdn crashes and fe… Please let us know if you are coming by posting an entry to the Frankfurt 6th of February SDN Meet! Who is coming? in the /community [original link is broken] forum. Hope I will be fully recovered from my current cold until then. Would be sad to be jet lagged hanging in the ropes and drinking peppermint tea in the middle of the action. Well independent of that I am totally looking forward to it. Tell it to your friends and let’s rock the house.
