XI : Configuring CCMS Monitoring for XI- Part I

In this weblog lets see how to step up the initial CCMS configuration. Step 1 : Turn on CCMS Monitoring by settng CCMS in SXMB_ADM -> specific confguratio -> add CCMS under Monitor category SXMB_ADM->IE Configuration -> specific configuration -> new enteries -> monitoring category , choose CCMS Monitoring and set the initial value to 1. Step 2 : Activate qRFC, by scheduling the job in background , TCODE RZ21 Step 3 : Creating a System Group for SAP Exchange Infrastructure Step 4 : define the system group ExchangeInfrastructure_Systems to obtain monitoring information Step 5 : Choose Maintain system groups from the Technical infrastructure menu and define the system group ExchangeInfrastructure_Systems Step 6 : Maintain all systems of your XI landscape, If the local system in which you configure your monitor is part of this group, you can include it in the group by specifying its system ID. Step 7 : Using TCODE: RZ20 create a CCMS monitoring set Step 8 : Choose the standard CCMS templated provded for XI and copy the monitory set Step 9 : As you can see we have configured CCMS for the XI system defined in RZ21 Summary In this blog i have shown only the procedure to configure CCMS Monitoring for XI as CCMS Alert monitoring is not part of XI , but is a part of SAP Web Application Server.
