How to define CRM system in portal so that ICSS works inside portal

I see lot of question on how to get ICSS(inside business package of CRM) to work with portal. This weblog will show you in a couple of steps to define CRM system that works with ICSS.

Step 1
Define a CRM system and fill out the Connector information. This is not required for ICSS but you need to fill this out for any java iView that connect to CRM.

Step 2
Fill out the ICSS portion of the system like following screen shot.

The ICSS path in above screen should contain either ICSS_B2B or ICSS_B2C , depending on the scenario being impelemented at your client site.

Step 3
Assign the alias SAP_CRM to your system object.
