Brainstorming on master data management concepts

Similar to what Roman Rytov initiated when he posted his article about real and fictitious scenarios in master data management, I’d like to collect your feedback, thoughts, and wishes regarding master data management today and in the future.

For this purpose, I have opened an informal MDM thread in the SDN Forums area as a place for discussions about the real and potential areas of application for MDM.
Regardless of whether you think in processes, focus on specific object hubs, or prioritize concrete features and functions, I think the discussion forum is exactly the place to pass on your thoughts and convey your understanding of master data management.

As a matter of fact, traffic on the MDM discussion forum has increased dramatically during the last weeks and months, and I hope this new thread will be frequented accordingly. Let’s diversify the forum a bit and not only use it for support issues, but also for brainstorming on new concepts.
