We did some tweaking regarding links and things. Now Google is finally discovering the importance of the SDN Content and their authors. Case in point: Vinod Chandran.

Two days ago he posted his first Weblog on SDN: Using Final window in Smartforms. If you search today for his name in Google his post is result number three. Finally the world takes notice. Same result if you search for Smartforms Blog again third link to his post. Sweet.

You would get the forum porfile of SDN users in the top ranks for a while already. Just search for example for Michal Krawczyk or Gregor Wolf. First search result in both cases is their forum profile. Today just a few lines further down their Weblogger page is listed too. Excellent.

Next stop is bringing it all together in one searchable Business Card. We will discuss it and lots of other things we want to improve on SDN  and looking forward to your input during the SDN Contributor Meet Birds of a Feather (BOF) Session at SAP TechEd in Vienna as well as in Boston. (By the way there is still room for your own session. Post it on the Wiki.)

See you all there.

I’ve noticed the Google positioning of sdn

sometimes it happens that when you post a question on the forum in a few minutes it’s available on google:) amazing but truth 🙂

I’ve just try the same for my own name — the first link is my business card on SDN 😉

But next I try the following search:
    epam site:sap.com
(i.e. all references to my company from SAP sites)

Most of the links found refer to me only. Should be really bad news for our sales / marketing guys taking on account our involvment is xApps / CAF :(((
