A Simple tip to tweak Firefox/Mozilla Browsers!

Firefox is becoming more popular and ofcource it has a lot of distinguishing features. The main feature is that it can be configured as per our need very easily. Recently i could hear a lot about this browser in SDN circle too. Apart from the common functionalities that Firefox has, there is a very special feature in it. Any Guess?

In the address bar of your Firefox browser just type about:config and press Enter.

What you see is the complete list of all configuration parameters that Firefox maintains. you can set them to your requirement for better performance.

Even security settings are available here, where we can modify it to our requirement. For example the default Password Lifetime is 30. We can double click on that parameter and modify it to requirement.

A nice thing to note as we can modify the complete browser settings from one screen.

…if you haven’t installed the DOM explorer for FF, you don’t know what you’re missing.  Attempting to write AJAX applications without it is insane.  Also, learning to use the JavaScript console is a must for any developer.
