I arrived in LA on Friday afternoon and spent yesterday afternoon on the showfloor to install and configure two SAP Web Application Servers and the Adobe document services. Avoiding to get run over by a forklifter proved to be an additional challenge during the installation process.
It is all running now and the showfloor opens today at 4:00pm. The Adobe booth is right near the entrance to the showfloor so you hardly can miss it. It would be great if a lot of SDNers stop by and say hello. I will be on the booth today from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday from 11:00am to 1:30pm and Tuesday from 2:30pm to 5:30pm. We have live systems so I can show the integration of interactive PDF forms in Web Dynpro as well as creating forms in the ABAP Workbench. I also brought along some other cool new technologies, like PDF documents which contain interactive 3-D graphics.

Monday, 1:30 - 2:00pm: Securing Electronic Documents and Forms with Adobe Technology (ASUG Theater 5)
Organizations are concerned about their ability to maintain the privacy and security of electronic documents shared within and across the enterprise. Concern is justified, considering that unauthorized access to information can cause serious harms. This presentation will outline the Adobe approach to digital document security. The focus of the presentation will be the usage of Digital Signatures in Interactive Forms based on Adobe software to ensure the authenticity and integrity of PDF documents generated with SAP NetWeaver. Additionally it will be discussed how you can use Adobe LiveCycle software to control and monitor electronic document usage inside and outside the firewall.
Wednesday, 9:50 - 10:50pm: Interactive Forms based on Adobe Software in SAP NetWeaver (204B)
This session will provide an overview of the functionality and possible usage scenarios for Interactive Forms based on Adobe software, which is part of NetWeaver 04 and embedded in SAP WebAS 6.40. The following topics will be covered:
- Mass printing of forms
- Interactive online PDF forms in Web Dynpro - Forms design process
- Extending the reach of SAP applications using interactive offline forms
- Integration of the Adobe technology in Web AS
- Usage scenarios from early adopters
