Configuration of Outlook Web Access iViews

iViews that are created from the generic template of the SAP Application Integrator component can be used for quickly integrating the inbox, calendar, task, and contacts
folders on the Microsoft Exchange Server. You can integrate this iView into a SAP
Enterprise Portal framework page.

Proceed as follows to configure an Outlook Web Access iView for displaying the Webmail Content for an NT user that is using a folder structure with English localization.

  1. Select New From Portal Archive and then iview.
  2. Select the SAP Enterprise Portal application

and choose Next.

    1. On the next screen, choose Generic

and Next.

On the iView Wizard, enter the iView Name and ID for the new namespace, and choose Next.

Select Open for editing when wizard completes, and choose Finish.

In the Property Editor for Property Category choose Show All.

Scroll down and set the iView property URL template as URL to your target
application. You configure the following link as follows:

You can now add these iViews to pages in your portal, and add the pages to worksets or roles. When users log on to the portal and go to the page where one of these iViews is located, they can access the corresponding information from Outlook Web Access.

  • Hi Hari,
good job, even i had tried this earlier
I just have one doubt. What is the differnce between giving the url by appintegrator iview rather than giving it directly as a simple url iview.
I guess both results would be the same.isn’t it not?
    kindly clarify.

    Thanks & Regards
