This post is not about SDN meets Labs (https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/index.sdn?page=sdnmeetslabs.htm) posts here. I am getting boring am I 🙂 Well then here is a quick question which I also posted to the folks over at O'Reilly (http://www.oreillynet.com/cs/weblog/view/wlg/5501): On the net in the ranking of the most popular programming languages, which one made the biggest jump last year? 10 spots to be precise? And why? O.K. most popular is a relative term, but if you measure how often a language is mentioned on the Net as the TIOBE Programming Community Index (http://www.tiobe.com/tpci.htm) does, the one that jumped the most ranks in the charts this year is SAP's AB (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABAP)AP (https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/developerareas/abap.sdn?node=linkDnode6-3). Yes that is right, our own little baby 🙂  {code:html}
