More Forum Improvements

In my Let the Blue Stars shine … post on Friday I said that I probably forgot to mention some improvements and of course I did. One that I would like to get your feedback on and one that actually just got implemented this morning.

Finally we found a way to add the SAP Term (or at least most words of it) to the spell checker in the forums, so that words like ABAP, NetWeaver or even SDN doesn’t get flagged anymore. What a relief 🙂 By the way I am using ieSpell so the spell checking and the words that are acceptable for me comes along with my browser.

We also added a line with top posters just below the top contributors to every forum.

Here the example out of the Internet Transaction Server (ITS) forum:

In newer forums where there are not a lot of points given yet, it helps to find out who is really active in this forum. Let me know how you like it.

Bonus link: Finally the world wakes up to the fact how visionary SAP is:
SAP to the Rescue?
Process repositories and “applistructures” are going to rescue the software industry.

Mark , Nice to see new features added , makes it more interactive.

I like the alert mail feature which triggers an email when there are comments on my weblog.

Is it possible to have a feature where in i specify my focus area and get an alert email when there is a new weblog on the topic i focus on in SDN!!

      Hi Saravana,
I recommend that you are using an RSS reader and subscribe to the Weblog topics that you are focusing on. The RSS reader picks up the new Weblogs for you.
Or check out DevToday, there you can create your own newsletter from the new content that is coming to SDN: https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/devnews.sdn?node=linkn2
      Best, Mark.
