xApps & Composite Application Framework: Book (in german)

After many discussions, awe and shock, sleepness nights, complaints from our spouses – we made it: the first book about xApps and the Composite Application Framework is available.

With the help of SAP Press Jo Weilbach, Alexander Kupfer, Jürgen Lindner and myself finished the book titled:

SAP xApps und das Composite Application Framework

Click on the link to read a summary and find the website to order it. The book is in german only, an english translation is scheduled for around May 2005.
The book gives you an overview about xApp-strategy, the Composite Application Framework with a demo example and 2 short chapters of how the CAF is used by the xApp Product Definition and xApp Cost & Quotation Management. The last chapter gives an outlook to where business applications will head – a shocking insight for overloaded IT-departments and starving business departments.

Our next targets are now to plant a tree and …, but that is of no importance for this auditory.
