SAP TechED 2004 San Diego: Conference Diary

Welcome to TechEd
This year instead of just typing up my SAP TechEd notes and sending home to the rest of my company’s development team, I decided that I would share my thoughts and experiences on SDN. Hopefully I will be able to give those who were not able to attend a little taste of what we are seeing. I even brought my camera. So in the morning once I can borrow a USB cable to download the pictures from the first night here, I will post some looks at the area and the conference center.

I can tell you that I can’t obviously make it to every offered session (I wish I could!). My plans are to hit mostly ABAP sessions, with a few EP sessions thrown in for curiosity.

Already I am amazed at how many old fiends I bumped into, just while registering this evening. I look forward to meeting some of the people I have had the pleasure of interacting with via SDN as well.

If I can get my wireless network card to work, I might even write some of my WebLogs from the SDN Clubhouse. That seems rather appropriate!

  • … finally meet you at the SDN Clubhouse.

It is on the second floor just passed the Exhibition Hall Room 6A and I will be there most of the time.

So whoever is reading this and is in San Diego swing by and say hello.

It is really exciting to meet people face to face after getting to know them online via SDN over a last year.

    See you tomorrow, Mark.
