They come in all shapes and colors and sizes. They are used for data capture, they are printed, they are faxed, they are e-mailed. They are designed with different tools, even within SAP.
And SAP has a new tool in NetWeaver 04: Interactive Forms based on Adobe software. You’ve probably heard about it, you may have been to the corresponding SDN page, you might even have seen our SDN TV feature – in other words: We’ve caught your attention. You now want to know more and talk to some of the experts. SAP TechEd is your chance to do so.
Here are the sessions you’ll want to hear:
DM101: The technology overview: Why, what, how
DM152: The really amazing new stuff: How can I get interactive PDF forms for data capture and transfer into my SAP application?
DM151: The staple food: Print forms and how to create them
BPM101: Real life: Interactive forms in the business world (Example: mySAP ERP)
And let’s not forget the SDN-sponsored Birds of a Feather sessions planned for San Diego and Munich. Here, you’ll be face to face with some of the development people from both SAP and Adobe.
Please note that I have linked to the San Diego schedule, but a similar program (and some more) is available in Munich. Just check the agenda for the conference topic Interactive Forms.
And if you can’t make it to TechEd in person, don’t worry: The session recordings will be here in SDN in December!
