Just some few minutes to go until the deadline for SAP TechEd 2004 will be reached. Time to say thank you to SDN, especially Mark Finnern, who helped improve the quality of SDN and quanitity of the weblogs and forum posts. But also thank you to all the other people "in the background" (because I don't know them perdsonally)
There have been numerous extensions since I joined SDN. The CRS was just one ensuring that the content nearly exploded. The problem with the CRS has been discussed before. I only want to add that the CRS in its current form is much better than nothing and better than any other mechanism known to me in weblog spheres or forums.
Nice that SAP sees inclusion of the community as important as it seems to be when looking at SDN. I every asked myself how many people from SAP are involved in maintaining and developing SDN. Could you tell me?
From my point of view, SDN is a quite small project in the scope of SAP (but large compared to projects of smaller companies). Nevertheless SDN is really cool, looking at the features and the nice GUI. Well done!
Go on improving SDN, there still is plenty of opportunity.
