Did you notice that the first three SDN Members have crushed through the 1000    contributor points mark. Thomas    Jung, Craig    Cmehill and of course Stefan    Klensch are leading the pack. Congratulations to all of you! They     will each get a $50 Amazon gift certificate.

Of course they are also first in line for the World 184 : SAP 193 for the top contributors. The deadline for points is next week    Friday the 24th at midnight Pacific Standard Time. We did that so you are not tempted to    work through the weekend and rather spend it with family and outdoors instead    of with a computer 🙂

I am not totally sure how we will measure it, guess someone has to stay at    home and make a screenshot at midnight next Friday. That will of course only    be a preliminary result, because there may still be some code samples or articles    in the pipeline that made it in time for the counting, but were not processed    yet.

You have just one more week to get your content published  that you have  somewhere    on your hard disk, so hurry up. It is also high time to go back to    all the questions that you have asked in the forums to check the answers you    received andSpread the Love! they deserve. Remember, if you don't do it, there are seven years    of bad *** ahead of you. It starts slow, but it goes downhill real fast. Believe    me I was there; in '96 I was too lazy to go back and give recognition where    it was due and man, were those 7 years long. I wouldn't jinx it if I were you.

One thing is also interesting. In the top 20 of all contributors, there are    still 10 SAP employees and 10 non-SAP SDN members, but there is not one SAP    employee in the top 5. I'm barely holding on to my spot in the top 10. (But I don't count towards the prizes.)

It just proves that it's true what they say: Walldorf or the whole of Europe    for that matter closes down for August. [Very civilized if you ask me :-)]    Or maybe everyone is busy preparing their killer presentations for the SAP    TechEds 🙂
