I finally got around to signing up for SAP TechEd, at least for the San Diego one (Munich will do on another day), and I am really getting excited about it. We have some cool stuff planned from the SDN Team.
There will be WiFi throughout the event, so don’t forget your WiFi Card. But if you do there’ll also be some to rent. Don’t count on it too much, my experience is that there are often problems with these networks, but we want to network with people anyhow. So for that we will have the SDN Clubhouse with coffee and tables for you to hang out, and meet your fellow SDN developers. We will showcase cutting edge developments there too. For example the force behind the ViewPoint technology Brian(Yaniv) Willis will be there and you can ask him all about it.
What I am especially looking forward to is to meet lots of you fellow SDN contributors. For example, it makes such a difference to have met http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/u/3294 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] at the SDN Meetup in Walldorf – a summary this summer. Now when I read his posts, I can hear him say it.
So I hope you make your way there too. Swing by the SDN Clubhouse, it will be my home away from home and you will be able to find me there almost all the time. Step up and say hello. See you all there in San Diego or Munich.
