Last month at the BW and Portals 2004 conference in Orlando, FL we had a chance to talk to some of you about SDN. One of the comments we got was that it was difficult to find information on SDN. “Have you checked DevToday?” was our response. “No,” said you, “What’s DevToday?”

60 seconds of demo later, you were in love!

DevToday brings it all together for you quickly and easily. It being all the newest content that matters to you that we publish to SDN: SAP Notes, presentations, how to guides, weblogs, news, FAQs, webinars, etc. It’s all there and you can get it your way. Hit DevToday on the navigation bar to get the online edition or subscribe to receive it as a newsletter by email.

Make sure you take advantage of DevToday’s jaw droppingly easy personalization. Try our intuitive profile setting page or look for the specially marked discussion objects and rate them while you are reading any article.

Discussion objects are marked with cute little stars. Hover your mouse over any of them and rate how much you’d like to see content about them. Here’s an example of one:

You complained, we listened! We’ve corrected most of the formatting issues with DevToday and now it’s better than ever. When you use DevToday to find documents that matter to you, you can now read them in HTML format right in DevToday. As before, just in case you need to get the document in its original form, look for the link titled “Access original document” in the HotLinks section on the right-hand side.

I am amazed to find out how many of SAP’s OWN consultants don’t even know of SDN nor use it!!! In my first days here (on project), I was showing them all (4 total…2 functional, 2 Plat. level technical) how to get to it, what’s there, etc. etc. Now, checking in is part of their daily routine in the mornings like checking their email. Spread the word! It works!!!
