Technorati is like the grand central station of the blog world, where all the Weblog posts come through and interesting patterns emerge that one can check out on an hourly basis. Like Clay Shirky's power law distribution of the weblog world. At Technorati they have the data to proof it. (One used to be able to zoom into the graphic and actually see the different blogs. I guess it pulled their server down).
