Hello All,
My BI Version is SAP 7.01 SupportPackage 8, SAP GUI 730 and I have SAP_ALL authorisation.
I have transported a workbook from development to production. The transpotation was successful. After transportation to production I am not able to find the transported workbook in T-code RRMXP and also in Bex Analyzer.
When I created a workbook directly in production I am able to access the workbook and also able to find technical entries in RRMXP or Bex.
I have check all workbook related tables Ex: RSRWBINDEX, RSRWBSTORE, RSRWBINDEXT and able to find technical name of the workbook both in development and production. But not able to find technical name of the workbook in RRMXP or Bex analyzer in production system.
Plese give your valuable sugesstion.
Thanks.
Anand Kumar
Hi Anand,
We encountered the same issue.
Please transport the role associated with the workbook.

Hi Anand,
I believe you would have created a derived role for accessing the workbook for the users.
And you would have been publishing your workbook to a role.
So, transport the role associated with your workbook.
Please note that keeping your workbook in your favorites will do no good when you are moving it to higher environments.

Hi Anand Kumar,
If the transport is successful please check in the table RSRWBINDEX.
If the problem persists, please check whether the following explanation helps you:
In order to save a workbook, a user needs two authorization
objects. The two objects listed below are the minimum
authorizations, a user needs to save workbooks.
-> S_GUI: Authorization for GUI activities
-> S_BDS_DS: Authorizations for document set
Both these authorizations will enable a user to save
workbooks to their 'Favourites' folder. If a user wants to
save a workbook to a location where it can be easily accessed
by others, they need to save to a 'Role' rather than saving
the workbook in their own Favorites folder. You can then
assign the Role to all parties who need to share workbooks.
In order to save workbooks to Roles, a user needs following
authorizations.
-> S_USER_AGR: Authorizations: Role check
-> S_USER_TCD: Transactions in roles
These have been detailed in notes:
373979 Authorization for saving roles
316470 No authorization to change roles
1180683 - Enhancement to the authorization check for workbooks

Hi,
Ideally the SAP_ALL role should have authorization for all the roles and workbooks. But check if the workbook is assigned to any of the role.
Also find the workbook in metadata repository->it shows all the workbooks irrespective of the roles.
If the workbook does not found in the Meta data repository, then you need to re-transport the workbook.
Hope this helps...
Rgs,
Ravikanth.
Hello Ravi,
Thanks for your reply.
The workbook is not assigned to any of the role because the user has SAl_ALL authorisation.
User have ckeck the workbook in metadata repository--> it is showing all workbook which user have transported to production but if the user open the T-Code RRMXP or Bex Analyser the user can not see any work book even though the user has SAP_ALL authorisation.
If you have any solution then please suggest me.
Thanks.

Hello,
Thanks all of you for your reply.
I have add the workbook in the favourite of a user . The user has SAP_ALL authorisation. After adding workbook I can access in T-Code RRMXP and also BEX Analyzer.
* How to add a workbook to the favorites of the user?
1. Leave other parameter with the default values
2. Execute- F8.
Thanks.
With regards,
Anand Kumar
