Can not access HANA system from WEBIDE or Eclipse

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to connect my SAP HANA DB to WebID or Eclipse.
In Eclipse, I would try to add a new system and put all the needed information like Host, instances, … etc. and then try to connect with my username and password. But I always get this error!

I then switched to Web IDE, I would try to add a normal HANA Database, but I get the following error!

Can anyone please help me with this problem?

Hi batoul.kserawy

first of all I think you should change the topic to "Fail to connect WEBIDE or Eclipse to HANA"

Second but not least I've tried pinging the hostname in the pic and it's up, therefore my answer would be that the system number of Database Instance and therefore the port in the connection 30013 is wrong

Check the the system number of Database Instance

Also to help you out, check this nice thread for troubleshooting

Hope this helps!A

Hi amontella96,
thank you very much for your replay.
I'm not certain how the instance number can be the issue because as showed in the screenshot it is 00.

I have also attempted to run the (select * from "SYS"."M_DATABASES";) command and got the following.

I'm not an expert with HANA this is actually my first time working with it, but as I understood these results also means that the instance number is 00.
