As said in the subject I am trying to import a custom fiori application into a process in the SPA BTP Build process automation. I've tried changing the Manifest to include sap.bpa.task and changed the component.js file to include the usual code that is generated when creating a Custom Task UI. Technically while I can import the form into the process, it throws the error shown in the image and won't function in the Inbox as an approval form.
Hello @AvaneeshPEOL ,
Importing the UI5 in the process and getting it rendered in runtime ( in Inbox application) are two different things. While the UI5 gets imported as it looks for certain metadata information, but it fails in runtime because of the issue in rendering the view ( could be any reasons based on how you have designed you UI5 app ).
You can take help from this tutorial to understand how to use UI5 app as Task UI in process.
