Dynamic Smart Filter Bar

Hi Experts,

I have the requirement to display multiple filters in a FilterBar, which are build dynamically, based on a custom configurations in the backend. Perfect case for Smart Filters..., but

there is one initial filter, based on which, the filters should be shown accordingly. As an example, if we select the value 1 from the initial filter, then the filters should be Color and Size, if we select the value 2, the filters should be County and Language.

Unfortunately I have the trouble with updating the metadata, which holds the Annotations for the filters. I am not even sure if the updating from the metadata is the correct approach for implementing such case. I have tried using the field-control attribute, but somehow I am not able to get it work.

Please share your opinions, how should I implement this requirement and if I am on the right track.

Any hints for the field-control annotations would also help.

What is the custom configuration you are using in the backend? Can you provide more clarity about your query
