When: 3:00-3:30pm EST, but may go longer – Thursday November 10th, 2011

Guests: Sanjeev Aggarwal and Laurie McCabe , SMB Group ? http://www.smb-gr.com/

Description: Small and midsize companies that find themselves drowning in data need a lifeline to bring them – as well as valuable information and insights – to the surface. Getting a handle on dispersed, inconsistent and aging data isn’t a trivial task, but the benefits SMEs can realize by doing so far outweigh the costs. Our TweetChat is an informal discussion on how sales, service, and marketing professionals at small and midsize enterprises can take advantage of the data they have to:

  • Understand and serve customers better and more profitably
  • Focus marketing efforts on the most effective tactics
  • Sell more effectively and avoid pipeline surprises

Prize: TweetChat participants will be eligible for a $20 Amazon.com gift card. Winner(s) will be randomly selected at the end of the TweetChat.

What is a TweetChat: TweetChats are virtual meetings about a specific topic held on Twitter. It is a real-time forum in which experts can respond live to Tweets. TweetChat participants use a hashtag name (#SMEChat) to identify the Tweets as belonging to this particular chat.

How to Join the TweetChat: 1) Sign up for a Twitter account, 2) Log on to http://tweetchat.com/ at the pre-arranged time, 3) Enter: ‘#SMEChat’, 4) Simply Tweet a question or comment and hit ‘Enter’. The hashtag #SMEChat will be automatically added, so make sure your Tweets are 132 characters or less.

Take-Aways: SAP will share our newly published white paper on ‘Using ERP and BI to Turn Data into Insights’, as well as videos on how industries such as manufacturing and healthcare are using SAP BusinessObjects Edge solutions.
