Winblad talked about predictive analytics as the new hot spot for venture investing and discussed the growth of companies that can derive value from the huge amounts of data being stored.
Perry continued, “the real impetus is the potential insights we can derive from this new, vast, and growing natural resource. If data is the next big thing, then companies need to think about a new business model that exploits this valuable resource”.
